Resilient
This is the dystopian novel I am currently writing. I am hoping for a release date around the 1st week of June. This is the premise/blurb. Let me know what you think.
Erica’s life is as stayed and safe as it can be. She’s not one to ever put herself in danger and yet she is in mortal danger right now. The worse flu in centuries is spreading across the nations faster than quantum entanglement and Erica’s in bed, suffering along with the rest of them.
Bills won’t pay themselves and responsibilities don’t just vanish when we get sick, so as soon as possible Erica is back in her car and driving to work … Except the world is empty. The drive to work is spooky and alienating. Cars are abandoned and the few people she has seen are dead. Everyone is dead.
Alone, frightened, and heartbroken, she now has to find a way to survive this apocalyptic world she has woken up to. Does she have the will, the strength, and the ingenuity to survive? She doesn’t think so, but she doesn’t have a choice. Against all odds she has one thing going for her, she’s resilient.
