Can you believe it is already June? Half the year is almost gone and I ask myself: what have I accomplished? Looking back, the first thing that comes to mind is that I have only published one book so far this year. Then, I am reminded of all the other things I have done this year, such as the 200,000 words I have already written; the 30 different swag designs I have created; the Twitter ads; the blog tours; the fairs and markets. It has been a busy year and despite what life has thrown at me over the past few weeks, I think it hasn't all been a loss.
As of tomorrow, I will resume my regular writing schedule; I have a lot of catching up to do. Thank you all for understanding and for all your support over the past couple of weeks. You guys is what makes it all worthwhile. Thank you!
I have also given my website a new, fresh look. I still need to revamp the Reviews page and the Book Fairs page will change completely, but I think it already looks pretty stunning.

Featured author of the week
I don't have a specific author for you today, but there are a few I would like to mention. They are fantasy authors, too, and write just the kind of books I love to read. I will feature some more for you next week, but in the meantime, I think these are definitely worth checking out. You might even find something to read while you wait for the release of Forbidden Elemental.
New release
On Friday, I attended the book launch for Sucker Punch by Ashleigh G. and Eva Logan. We got to meet the real live version of the cover model - an actual MMA cage fighter.
If you haven't read Sucker Punch yet, here's a bit more about it.
