Two days later, dehydration and exposure find her close to death and she collapses behind a large dune.
Shortly before sunrise on the third day, she wakes to discover that she is not alone. Something terrible and dangerous lurks at the base of the dune, intent on killing her.
Weak as she is, she can barely defend herself. Her life hangs in the balance as she learns to communicate with the creature that wants nothing more than to eat her.

Discworld Day a huge success
So, yesterday was Discworld day and, as always, we had so much fun. It is always amazing to see fans come out and seek out our bookstall and come chat to us. Sun, fun, and fans; what more can an author ask for? Larouchelle, Trish, Lisa, Kelan... I can't name you all, but you know who you are. Thank you, for making the day so special for me. You guys are awesome!
There were, however, some disappointments, too, as some of you came to get your copy of Forbidden Elemental. I promise you all, I am writing as fast as I can without compromising on quality. I am close to finishing, but as the book has turned out to be approximately 180,000 words, editing will take a little longer than usual. (Can't wait to show you all the cover. OMG!)
With Discworld Day over, we are now preparing for Fantasy Fayre on 2nd June 2018.

Great news
You all know by now that I will be at Comic-Con Africa this year. This week, the organisers have started to announce some of the celebrities that will be attending. They originally just said that some of the cast of Game Of Thrones and The Big Bang Theory will be there, but they did not give details. Since then, I've been keeping my fingers crossed, hoping for one particular cast member of GoT. Guess what? My wish came true. OMG! Check it out!
